Responding into the New Year with our newest addition a 2024 Ford F550 Type VI Engine.

After a year of designing, customizing and fabrication, it will replace a 2015 Booster truck and be utilized for Grass/Woods fires along with EMS responses. It is outfitted with more specialized equipment making it a more capable apparatus for MCESD#2 citizens.

MCESD#2 purchases and refurbished a special service truck to serve MCESD#2 . It is called Squad 54 and went in service October 2025.

It is a 2016 fire department body that MCESD#2 purchased from another Montgomery County ESD. MCESD#2 refurbished and remounted it on a 2025 Ford F550 Chassis. This saved the MCESD#2 and its citizens thousands of tax dollars over purchasing a new unit.
